From the beginning of time and into eternity, we serve a God who is present, powerful, and faithful. He created every aspect of our world, and knew each of us individually even before we were formed in our mothers’ wombs. How incredible that our Creator God is responsible for the vastness of the universe, yet loves us dearly and wants to know our hearts.
Psalm 90:2 says, “Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”
There was never a time before God, and there will never be a time without Him. It is difficult for us to ponder that kind of majesty, or to understand what that really means.
What we do know is that God is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise — and worthy of our dedication. And yet, the King of Kings, the Most High, the Holy of Holies...invites us openly to communicate with Him in prayer any time, anywhere, for any reason. We are truly blessed.
Who do you know needs the guidance of the Lord in their lives? The truth is, everyone you meet needs God, and may just be waiting for an introduction from you.
Here are 5 easy ways to start a conversation about faith.

Offer to pray. If a friend, colleague, or stranger in line at the grocery store shares a problem or struggle they are facing — ask if you can pray for them. If you’re comfortable, pray right then and there. Ask if it’s okay if you include their need in your prayers. If it’s someone you know, follow up to see how things are going.

Say, “God bless you.” You don’t have to reserve this statement for a hearty sneeze — pull it out anytime, anywhere, and when you say it, mean it.

Share your story. When people think of the word ‘testimony,’ they sometimes think that means you have to survive a plane crash, reform your life after prison, or have beat the odds in some incredible way. However you met Jesus, whatever He has done in your life, your story is worthy of sharing. Don’t hold back - when you meet someone new, or get to know someone better, include your relationship with Jesus when you tell others about yourself.

Let it shine. When you hear others complain, don’t join in their misery...share your joy! Because of Jesus we have every reason to smile, and when people notice your positive attitude, and hear you express gratitude for your blessings, they will want to know more.

Do unto others. Love is best expressed not as a feeling, but as an action. Seek opportunities to pitch in to help a neighbor, volunteer in your community, and be a good samaritan when the opportunity arises. Ask God to send you people in need, and equip you to help them in Jesus’s name, and to share the Good News as you go. Just wait, God will do the rest.
