BERRYVILLE, AR - Nationally-renowned personal and business financial expert and author, Dave Ramsey honored Kerusso Founder and CEO, Vic Kennett, for exemplary Christian business leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit. College of the Ozarks President and host of the event, Dr. Jerry Davis, assisted in presenting the award during a dinner and panel discussion on October 4. The award, a stained glass plaque, was made by students from the college.
Prior to the evening convocation, which featured Dave Ramsey as the keynote speaker, the College of the Ozarks Chapter of Students in Free Enterprise hosted “Prelude to EntreLeadership,” a panel discussion that featured four distinguished business leaders. Terry Bowen, Executive Vice President of Kerusso, served as the panel moderator. Kennett also served as one of the panel members and demonstrated how the five leadership principles highlighted in Dave Ramsey’s book, EntreLeadership: 20 Years of Practical Business Wisdom from the Trenches, paralleled the principles of his own leadership journey. “I had a dream to glorify God with whatever I did,” Kennett said describing his inspiration to start his own business.
